RESULTS & QUESTIONS

Clear about
what a result means.

Screening supports an informed handling decision. It does not replace your organization's policies or a complete forensic examination.

No threat detected

No detection within the completed scan's scope and loaded definitions. Unknown threats may remain.

Threat detected

Review the finding and follow your organization's isolation and examination procedure.

Inconclusive

The available information does not support a no-threat result. Review the reason and next steps.

Refused or incomplete

A screening prerequisite was not met or the workflow did not finish. Do not treat this as a completed clean scan.

BEFORE YOUR DEMONSTRATION

A few practical
questions.

What write protection does the current pilot use?

The current V1 pilot software identifies OS-level read-only mounting. That is distinct from a tested hardware write blocker. We will identify the protection method of the specific unit and release being demonstrated.

Does a green result guarantee that media is safe?

No. It means no threat was detected within the completed screening scope and the definitions available to the unit. It cannot certify the absence of unknown or newly emerged threats.

Can I use my existing Android phone or iPhone?

The companion app is available for both platforms. Confirm the current app requirements, phone compatibility, and console release before your demonstration.

What should I bring to a demonstration?

Describe the media types, typical content, encryption formats, and record requirements you need to evaluate. Agree on representative demonstration media with DFX1; do not email case evidence.
